    33# Ronca-gctid380925

Put on the new anchor 33# ronca. 50' chain 100' 5/8 line. Windlass took it in no problems. Man was I relieved that it all fit. Piece of cake.

Cant wait to drop it. Will post a pic.

Hopefully you're anchoring in relatively shallow water, with calm conditions. I'd have been inclined to put on less chain, and as much line as possible. The ideal scope for anchoring is 7 to 1 (I know that that's not always possible or necessary), but with that ratio, you're only good for about 22 feet of water under you.

Thanks it is shallow around here. And calm. Easy old man boating at its best. That anchor is a beast.

We slept out on the hook last night with our Rocna, and it was flawless as always - you'll love it!
