Anyone ever put your boat on a mud slip? How bad are they to the boat? I know your at the mercy of the tides but what else should you be worried about with them?

Around here in RI you also have to deal with the extreme odor of low tide and also the insects in the warmer weather. Both of those issues come up if you like to hang out at the dock for any extended time. If your a fisherman, then it might not matter so much. They are usually cheaper though.
