    [img]/media/kunena/attachments/vb/683640=27526-003.jpg[/img] in my 266 on both sides of the engine are two nice areas for storage my question is can we drill holes through the tops of these flat surfaces ?my star board side has lots of room port side already has factory stuff attached.

    Yes, it's probably ~1/2" plywood. Be sure to seal holes well so the shelf doesn't rot out sooner than it's bound to The outer edges probably get close to the hull itself as well, so don't go through!

      Yeah Jamie, you can. Thats where they install the factory generator, so its pretty substantial. Just seal any penetrations...is that your water heater to the right, in that second pic? Thats where my battery bank is; mine is located next to the waste holding tank, to the right of the aft berth.

            yes i had my batteries moved to the other side to correct my listing problem the are a little forward of engine hatch so i have all that room where the factory generater should be
