Was planning on hitting the lake this summer for the first time in 2 years. Got sent overseas again during the summer months (what a drag) Once I get home, I have to do all the typical maint, plus add a new anchor light and replace both batteries. That and i need to get the trailer registered (1st time for that) and new registration for the boat. This is just what I am aware of that needs done. Hope I can fit it in and hit the lake before the waters get cold. If the water is cold, weather should still be nice. Looking at Sept timeframe to hit the Butte.... crossing my fingers..

Thank you! USAF sent me to Kandahar Afghanistan. What branch are your kids in if you dont mind me asking?

Both USAF. One is E-5 F-15 crew chief at Mtn. Home, Idaho, in his 7th year. He was at Bagram last year for 6 months, he's also been to Iraq, Turkey and S. Korea. The other is E-4 in his 4th year, tests for E-5 next Monday. He's an ATC at Nellis in Las Vegas, probably won't deploy. I was in too, back in the 70s...

Never did Iraq, but done Saudi Arabia, Turkey and twice to Korea, even been to Nellis once. Never been to Mtn Home.

@ Jeffw, Lake Havasu looks to be about 11 hrs from home and definitely on my list of lakes i wanna hit so I may take you up on your offer, and no, I am not SFS. Work in Comm

Guest I like the idea of the BOC Burgee, Ill see what I can do about getting one here and flown.

No worries, I'm sure you're busy... If you tow your boat over here, I'd plan on 12-14 hours. We're 300 miles from Tucson, and I'd bet you're at least that or more. I hope you do make the trip, but get home safe first...
