At 12:06 pm today, Four Play'n got wet. I warmed up the boat at home so that there was no messing around at the launch. Got to the launch, backed in and fired up the boat. Popped the hatch, no water intrusion, good to go. We left Collins Bay and went out to Kingston Mills for a picnic. Temps were 21*C and light winds. It feels good to have had a successful shakedown cruise. We put 3 hours on her today. The last pic, i uploaded my tracks to google earth so you can see where i was. Oh, and the newly installed laptop nav system works like a charm. GPS has 5 ft accuracy the whole time and was spot on with all references.Boating season is upon us !

Good deal ! Smart to have 'er warmed up before you even got there,,,,,,real smart.

Good to hear we're all gettin' into the water lately,,,,,,it's about time dangit !

Thanx Sarah, After last years 2 outing on it at the busiest, smallest launch here, i decided that i want to be able to drop n go so i decided to start warming it up at home so there is no messing around

Nice shakedown cruise!

FWIW I went with the electronic ignition module several years ago and replaced the points on the AQ125a- one of the best things I ever did. No more worrying about starting and warming up. Pretty easy modification too.
