What is the diffrences between a 1989 2455 and a 1988 2655. I am trying to figure out if some of the interior parts and canvas can be swapped out or not. Guess what I am asking where did they stretch the extra 2 feet?

Not even close. They are 1 foot apart in width and 2 feet in length. Totally different boats, despite using some similar parts (gauges, for example, and throttle controls, switches, hardware, etc).hikepat wrote:

Some of the interior parts might swap depending on what it is you want to do.

I used to have a 2455 (which it seems you have), now I have a 2655. The inside is totally different and the canvas will not fit without major work.
google a 89 2655 that is for sale and look at the interior pics. I can't see anything that could be swapped.....

The top definitely will not work. The 2655 is both wider and longer. I could see where seating MIGHT work, but now you'd have to find an expert on both the 2455 and 2655 which might be challenging. I can tell you that on the more modern ones (98-05 range) the seating is also stretched in length. Even the flip bolster on the port seat/lounge is wider on those. So I really doubt anything will fit.

The seating up top will not work either. The 2455 has a straight L and the 2655 has more of a U shaped seat. The rear seat is also bigger on the 2655. Maybe the drivers seat....Thats about it imo.

The drivers seat IS the same part, as is everything it mounts to. THe U lounge is not the same, and none of the canvas will fit.

Kind of figured as much. Saw a set of interior v berth/dinning room cushions and canvas top for sale on craigs list for a 1988 2655 for $400. I wondered if the interior would be usable since it was described as resently being redone. I kind of figured the canvas would have been pretty much usless but figured I could resell and get most of my money back or talk they guy into selling just the interior cushions. Oh well I will just have to live with my own work that still works but of a grey instead of tan color so it does not match the old stuff as well
