Hi all I just need to hear from some guys that know boats. I have a 1989 bayliner capri 15' that i picked up a year ago for $500 with a good running force 50hp on it. The boat is in good condition and i love it I love the size I love the look and the way she drives but I have some small spider cracks that is on the left side of the transom and realy none on the right side. Now i know the transom is wet i know the boat sat on the water all summer at a bock all its life and wain water would pool in it untill the old man could pump it out so I'm shour there is a little rot. But the bottem legs on the engine on the gelcoat have no cracks at all the top bolts with the big washers have no cracks where its squeezeing the transom now i think this little boat is built pretty good the inside middle of the transom has a large fin like thing that gos gown to the floor and the inside of the transom is all glassed unlike my old 197? glastron futura that was all wood on the inside where water could just seep in. I did put the engine up and bounce on it and i realy cant see anything moving but i just need some info from all you. I use the boat in the pond and some salt water but just in the bay
