    She(39)s goin(39) in!-gctid373355

T Minus 1.5 hours to SPLASH. The Admiral and I loaded her up last night and now we await the hauler. Sadly, we have a wedding to attend this afternoon so we cannot spend the first night aboard. Photos to come. This is the second splash the Admiral has escorted.

The SPLASH was completed with only ONE minor mishap. I usually lose my phone when i splash, it falls out of my pocket. So, I left it in the car. HOWEVER, I did have the digital camera on my wrist with the strap. You guessed it, I tossed the line to the Admiral when docking and the camera flew threw the air and mad the most serene "PLUNK"! when it hit the water. If it is the worst thing to happen, I am OK with it. At least king Neptune did not get my Iphone 4S this year!

I am trying B3"s this year. I tell ya, at an idle this prop moves me at quite a clip. Hot reverse and she comes rigght around, no BS waiting for it to recover.

I am hoping to get to WOT with them, as they seem like a great prop over the 2'S. I was at 4300 (My WOT is 4200 to 4400) So maybe with a little tweaking I can stay with the 3's!

Us too Tony. I'm sitting on the boat right now in front of the house (trailered). I'm just making some touch up clean up stuff and charging the batteries since she's been in the shop getting new exhaust(complete~see below) and a new coupler. I'm sitting here with the laptop updating the Garmin with the newest software. I just got done cleaning the bilge, again, and the outside of the boat since she's been at the dealer for the last 3 weeks.

Tomorrow we'll head out to have a day trip, spring shakedown. It will be the first trip since the coupler spun in August. I can't wait.

I know many of you have an off season during the winter months, but we usually are able to get out at least once a month to get away.

Anyway, I know most of you are excited it's spring and to be able to get out, but I'm really excited to get on the water now that she's really looking great.

                  Todd,

That bilge looks SO GREAT! I scubeed mine this past fall before layup and it looks GOOD, but not like yours. Hoping for a great season this year for you!

Todd - that bilge is amazing! I am assuming they are photos of a new boat sitting in a dealership somewhere? ha ha.

Thank you but no, she's a 2000. Here she is when I bought her in Dec '07.

Here is a video I took last weekend before I sent her back to have everything installed.

and you saw the pic already from yesterday.

It's just really hot water, "L'-Bo-"greez" and a scrub brush.
