    Splashed today! Rough trip...-gctid371412

Took the boat out for a shake down run today. Boat ran fine, operator less then perfect.

I managed to break my skeg off on some underwater rocks and wreck a Prop (glad that's all that happened sounded horrible).

While I was doing that, my dad managed to clip a truck with the trailer and busted off one of the fenders (lucky we didn't damage the truck - the owner was there and more than nice about it).

So looks like some new fenders for the trailer and a Skeg Gaurd for what's left of the skeg!

I hope it's not an omen of the season to come!

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully, just a bit of rust from the lack of training over the winter and you have your incident over with for the season!

Look at it this way, you got all the bad stuff out of the way now so the rest of your season is smooth sailing.

Don't worry Wyro - next trip will be LOTS better

        Give 'em hell

Feeling much better today - new fenders from Ebay (Great Lakes Skipper) and a Skeg guard from Skegguard Marine. Only about $200 of Damage, it could have been much worse!
