  • Product that REALLY Works! - A must see in gelcoat repair (I am NOT with the company)-gctid371135

So some of you know my dash on my 2855 was in terrible shape. I had tried everything and nothing worked. Someone on the forums here had mentioned this product - so I looked into it. Well first off their website is terrible! made me very skeptical, second off it cost $85 for a 4 oz bottle. Wow right? Well I called the number and spoke to someone very knowledgeable. He explained how it was made and why it would work. I still was skeptical but thought I would take a shot - last ditch effort.

WOW I was amazed! Look for yourself. My dash looks brand new like it did from the MFG the day it was purchased. This truly is a great product that did what it claimed to do.

Wow great product. I have the same problem with my dash. Using baby oil makes it look a lot better but does not last very long. Let me know the long term results of this product. I will order it as well. Keep us updated. Looks great though!

It is good stuff. It lasts a year or so, but it is so easy to appyl, no big deal. I am going to do my decals this year on my boat that HAS NO MAKERS NAME FOR REASONS BELOW. I will post photos of befor and after.

Wow. That looks great!I recently went through the same thing...trying to get my dash looking good again.I used 303 Aerospace Protectant and was very happy with the results. Per the 303 instructions, I sprayed it on, let it sit for 5 minutes, and then wiped it off. Here are some pics of my results, but I have no idea how long it will last. I just did it last week, but it still looks great. If these results don't last long I may be looking into the product you used. THat stuff is a bit spendy, though. I could buy a lot of bottles of 303 @ $15/ea and just keep redoing it I guess. I'm just curious, did you try the 303 first and did it not work for you?

Can you wax over it after it dries to protect it longer?

I had not heard of 303 so no I didn't try that, but yours looks very good as well. Something to keep in mind.

As far as I know ... Yes. After it hardens it appears and functions like the normal dashboard.

Why do that when it is so easy to apply and shines like crazy? Waxing that area would be a pain in the Arse.

Just by hand to get some UV protection on it.

When you see how easy this is to put on, you will not think about waxing. 10 min. and you are done.

Yeah, I saw that in the video. It looks like it may work great. I was thinking of wiping on some wax or Starbrite polish with PTEF to protect from UV damage and make it last longer.
