I recently became the proud owner of a nice 99 1804sf. It seemed like the perfect dual purpose boat. However, it did not come with the mounting hardware(for and aft bracket and mounting plate) for a trolling motor. After scouring the internet and speaking to several service guys, my search has been fruitless. Just wondering if anyone here has some they removed from their boat or knows of someone parting a boat like this out. Any help is appreciated. This seems like a great site with alot of useful info. I have a 2000 1802 Capri Cuddy, I had a bracket made and mounted on the rear left side for my kicker. It can also be used for a transom mount electric motor.
You have room in the stern to install another battery. Bass Pro shops, sells phase chargers (BassPro and MinnKota) that will enable you to charge both batteries as you run your big motor. I will post pictures later of my setup. What are you running for a motor on your boat? Post pictures of your boat, We all love to see pictures!
