BORED out of my F*^%$g mind!-gctid367993

My boat is all ready for the water. The Jet ski is all ready to drop in. (Which I have made EIGHT payments on and never ridden!) Mother nature is being a real bitch this year. She gave us a two week long taste of 80* and sunny days and now we are back in the dismal April weather. Topped out at 47* today with grey skies. Water temp DROPPED from 44* to 41* in the last week. I NEED to get in the water soon, or I may very well lose my damn mind. I just got back from the Marina and I am frustrated all to hell. Looks like if this weather keeps up it will be JUNE again before I get to float.

I agree with Devildog...that spring teaser here in kingston had alot of peeps in the water. I figured i'd get mine ready and since then it has been cool and gloomy. But on the other hand i am with jamie on the splash date. I got my boat on thanksgiving last year and used it twice. So april 14th rain or shine warm or not shes getting wet. If still cool, it only take 4 minutes to drain the raw water side of the motor. Boats are going in the water here, so am I.

The weather is holding in Cape May NJ. Bottom paint and waxing done, zincs installed today and batteries installed and charging. Ready to go and splash for the new season next week! This is the earliest splash date in many years I usually shoot for May 5 !

Our splash date was set for Friday the 13th but now I was told that the lake level is so low due to no snow run-off and rain that they may not be able to put my boat in. Major bummer. :sorrow:

I hear you devildog. So far, I have seen a few fishing boats, some small J-boats and the rowing club in the water.

That last week of winter was just to torment us. I am hoping to get the boat out of storage within 2 weeks and then be in water in mid-May. I have to keep telling myself that it is hardly ever warmer than this in early April.

Docks are in, Power is on at the docks and water is on in the club house in Morrisburg Ontario. You Canadians need to toughen up Splash that puppy, summer is here. Stick your tounge out at those wimpy Americans as you drive by their shore. :kidding

That VXR looks sick! There are many times when we take the 305 out that I wish we had access to a ski for exploring and some high speed fun. Are you bringing it with the boat somehow, or leaving it at the dock?
