    Bayliner 325-gctid364567

I am looking at a Bayliner 325 with 5.7 engines and Bravo II drives.

I would appreciate any comments especially if those engines would be OK for such an heavy boat.

    Thanks.

They are a great match, especially with the B2 drives. Are the engines carb or MPI?

They are probably Carb, from what I have on 3055/305's is MPI's had bravo 3's carb had bravo 2's. I could be mistaken though as this isnt a 305/3055.

And yes they will be just fine, I have twin 5.7 with bravo 2's, they push her up to 44mph with no issue.

I've got the same engine and same drives. Plenty of power for my 305.

Didn't know that- learned something new today! What I do know is that the B2 lower can be swapped out for ther dual prop lower pretty easily.......

Yup just a few bolts, the only thing you may run into an issue is gear ratios.

              Sorry. They are Bravo III.

              Would that make a difference?

I have 5.0L MPIs with BIII drives and it pushes my 305 just fine. GPS top speed shows 42 MPH, and it gets on plane fine.

The B3 will give you better dock side manners

Are they the 5.7 MPI or the 350 MAG?

I have the 350 MAGs (300 hp) w/ Bravo IIIs and they are fine in this boat. Cruise at 3600 rpm is ~30 mph. WOT is low 40s mph.
