I put a new reman Michigan Motorz 5.7 in my 2655. I'm waiting for my gimbal housing - should be hear Thursday. Will be doing the Gimbal bearing, bellows, shift cable. I hope to be making my first splash this weekend.

I'm also half way through my buffing job. Looking good so far. Still so much to do!!

            I completed a couple projects.

            1. Installed Vinyl floor

            2. Mounted TV

            3. Smoke detector and CO2 detector install

            4. New Humminbird 788 GPS/fishfinder

            5. New Stereo DVD system

            6. Bowrail mounted spotlight

            Didn't finish a few things.

I've done a lot more but I would call that stuff maintenance.

Whats the weather like on our boat

              Where are we right now?

Kevin, you are just a skite !!!

I think I have had my boat for 4 year now, and sadly the list of jobs done each year is getting less. Like Reed, I have daughters taht are into horses and that does not hel, but some how I think work etc has increased, and I dont get the time to visit the boat (remember we boat year round) to keep up the repairs. I do have a new water heater on route.

Phil, Dave and Sarah thanks for the compliments I was out of

When I'm sipping on a beer in the summer and look around it will all be worth it

Well I can say that nothing has been completed.

With 3 boats they all need something. Some major and a lot of minor things to do.

Many have been started but none have been finished.

                    Bayliner 2355:

                    Buff and wax 1/2 done.

                    New batteries

                    Bottom paint

                    sell boat.

                    310 SeaRay:

New canvas and berth interior with carpet. (material is in and started)

New maninfolds and risers. (Old one off and new parts are in)

                    Complete tune-up. (all parts ordered)

                    New water heater (Ordered)

New TV and mount. (received and waiting on install)

                    Bottom paint

                    New Batteries

Remove all strips and install new ones.

Complete buff and wax Gel coat touch up and complete detail.

Complete engine and out drive change. (1/2 completed its only been 2 years now)

                    Sand, buff and wax.

And now I am starting my busy business time of the year.

Somehow it will all get done between me and the mechanics.

We got the outdrive routine maintenace stuff done and splashed the boat last Thursday.

Orders up some new rims for the waverunner trailer, they should arrive this week. Mama needs BLING on her baby

Not much, was just about to get into it and it dropped below freezing and we got a dusting of snow overnight.

Need to dewinterize, new alternator, and install the ducer for the new fishfinder. I did get all the mounts installed and wiring ready for the electronics though. Any work foreward of the alaskan bulkhead(aka inside and dry) is already done

Ive got huge list of things id like to do... but, maybe i should drive it for a season or atleast once before i start upgrading... my wife would agree.... After reading numerous posts ive aquired many ideas.. thanks guys!

Is that a recessed ice bucket in the corner????? NICE!!!!

                              Yes, Oneida Stainless Steel.

Also, has a liner so you just remove that to refill not the whole bucket.

Such a dead space under there. Had to add something :-).

I resemble that remark... I bought the new toilet in October, still not done, but I'll probably finish this week. One obstacle after another, but, it's a boat. I got many other smaller items crossed off the list though...
I've got that on the list of upgrades for our 2858, I'd love to see pictures of the install process.

We bought a new Fusion stereo for ours, haven't even started to install yet!
