  • Trophy 1802 height, looking to purchase but needs to fit in garage-gctid360306

Looking to go and pickup a trophy 1802.

My main concern is if it will fit in my garage.

The height rigged is stated to be 8ft. My garage height is about 7' 8" so I am looking to see how accurate that measurement is and if that would be with the front tongue fully lowered?

Anyone have a 1802 that can possibly give me a measurement from the top of the glass to the ground with the trailer fully lowered, it would be extremely appreciated.

I know different trailers will vary. Owner does not know brand it is a swing away tongue galvanized trailer if that helps at all.

I "think" you are OK with 8 foot garage doors. My 2002 W/A with the buggy top down sitting on a single axle trailer (15" tires) fits in my 8 foot garage doors with one and a half inches to spare.

I would lift the 7' 8" door and maybe let air out of the tires. You deside. Good luck.

I know this is an old thread, but should someone happen along......I removed my windshield as was able to back my 1802 into the garage with an inch or so to spare. Windshield came off really easy too. Allows me to do my engine maintenance in the considerable comfort of the indoors (garage style anyway).
