Kinda along the lines of what steadfast70 said about the time of year for seal, andnd I'm guessing he also means sea lions having salmon in their stomachs, what do the southern orca eat when the chinook or other salmon aren't running?
Dont get me wrong, I'm all for having the hatcheries running at 100%. It's just that there seems to be some statements that, admittedly, don't make total sense to me. Probably because I'm looking at the big print, not the fine print.
Great discussionn. That you guys for your volunteering.

Salmon don’t go out to the ocean until their 2ns or 3rd year, . They typically return to spawn in their 4th year.
those young chinook are called Blackmouth (at least locally here).
