Went out salmon fishing and caught this lunker!-gctid821919

It actually looked like it tried to eat my lure that's about as big as he was. Hooked in the mouth

I did manage to bring a good sized silver to the boat but it was a native so back he went. Fantastic weekend on the water here in puget sound! B)

More than I'm going to get before October. The Admiral, a couple of our kids and a friend went out yesterday and came back with 20 Dungeness crab.

Where did you crab. Every report I hear is bad this year. And we normally limit and the. Some but it's been a little rough this year.

Here in Seward, AK we just finished our yearly salmon derby, the smallest salmon turned in was .65 OZ and won the prize for the smallest salmon.

The Taker of the Great Laker. How many fillets did you get out of that bad boy?

Simbad, we get out and away from the "popular" places. It's about an hours run but we've been going there for over 15 years. This year has been tougher. Most of the twenty came from an overnight soak.
