    New settee for our 4588

One of the owners before us pulled out the original settee and it was replaced with a 3 seat RV recliner. That wouldn’t work for us. We kept looking and found an Ikea sleeper chaise that would fit.

had to modify the assembly steps but it just fits. Gives us another berth and storage for the bedding. Access to front hatch is easy. We will be having some work done on intercooler but it take 12 bolts to disassemble.

Admiral is very happy as is my oldest who assisted in the assembly.

Looks really good, a perfect fit! They're pretty comfortable to sleep on as well.

We re-upholstered the OEM settee but added 4” to the sitting cushions w thicker high density foam and a cloth sunbrella fabric. Has held up very well but I hate that galley end curve. Just doesn’t make sense and makes the settee less snoozable. Thinking about doing it again w elimination of that galley end curve. Considering fabrics now. Maybe a Sunbrella ultra leather vinyl.

I am just about to do that and create a 12" table with storage underneath. Silly design as no one can sit there. I am also going to modify to add drawers underneath for tool storage. I keep the tools in there now but it is a pain to get them out.
