Matching fuel gauge with tank sensor

Need to replace the sensor on my port side fuel tank. Fuel gauges are Feria brand. Do I need to buy a Feria fuel level sensor in order to get an accurate reading?
    Thanks.

No. There are several brands that will work well. The variables are single gauge and resistance ohm range. Here’s a sample fuel instruction pdf https://fariabeede.com/site_manuals/IS0008_E.pdf

I am having a similar issue with mine. If you have a NMEA 2000 network around, then a Maretron sensor will be much more accurate and easier to deal with. I am slowly converting all of my gauges to NMEA 2000 because the analog seem to be really unreliable these days.
