              Thanks Bayliner People It does look more modern.
              I used Interlux 1 part Brightside for the white and the blue. And the bottom paint is Interlux Triax II white.
              (FYI, the blue was an absolute nightmare to work with)

                  I have been contemplating the same thing . I have a 1988 3450 which has the same basic look and color. I have some awlgrip that I want to use. Same color as you applied. The reality of it isnt the blue paint but the type. Almost any marine type paint is used/ technically sensitive.

                          Why exactly was that blue so terrible to deal with? Was it sprayed I assume?

                            It was rolled and tipped. The tipping was a little more unforgiving than the white paint was. Tipping around the portlight windows was hardtop do smoothly also.

                              I went by another Bayliner owner at a lift lock this past weekend. He literally jumped out of his chair. He knew what he was seeing.
