We have put in Corian countertops, replaced the L shaped salon sittee, removed the over stove microwave and put in a smaller 1000w above the refrigerator, installed vacuflush system, new carpet, new 32 inch tv with internet, and new electronics.

Very NICE!!! Who did the counter tops for you and were you happy with the work and price? I've been contemplating doing the same thing to our 1994 4788 counter tops as our counter tops are like the 45 as this was the first year 4788.

Costco set up the countertop installation. It was the best price and Costco is really good about minding their contractors work. I think the whole thing was a little over $3 grand. There is no warranty on the marine installation because of hull flexing but we only have one narrow area in the transition from the window to the stove and none of the countertops flex anyway. That transition area is the only splice and it can't be seen unless you know where it is at. The molded in sink is absolutely the best. You won't be disappointed because it brightens up the interior and is so easy to keep clean. I also put in a hot/cold dispenser and a secondary water filter for it and the ice maker.

You are welcome to take a look if you are in the Lake Union area.

That looks really terrific! I've often pondered the amount of space the microwave takes up when we use it so rarely, and wished i had that much extra pantry storage. Your new galley arrangement is outstanding.

That looks outstanding! We are shopping for a 4788 right now. Once we find the right one, could we visit your boat and get the details on your projects? I love the TV location... Rob

You've done a beautiful job. These Bayliner pilothouses are a great canvas to remodel as the layouts are so usefull. I anticipate these boats are going to be highly sought after in the future as more and more discover the absolute bargain the Bayliner pilothouse is and what they can do with it.

We remodeled our 2001 4788 after looking at spending double on many of the other brands and I am sure we are much happier with the outcome and enjoyment level.

Lemme know when you get close. I'm a Corian Distributor and can get the materials, but only in whole sheets. I want to do my own (I have the CNC equipment necessary), but don't need full sheets for my trawler. I've got very limited counter space and a couple guys going together could save some $$.
