    Hi,

if you two have a 125 hp on your boat I am very interessed about your feeling.

I have a 150 mercury black max . old 2 strokes engine. but quite good. still quite old. finding parts can be hard.

I think about replacing by a "smaller" 4 strokes engine.

so for the comparison if you can tell me:

    - the weight of your engine

    - detail on the propeller

    - your fuel consumption

    - at what rpm you run on flat water to be planing, and the according speed.

and everything that you think could be interessting ..

    thanks a lot

    Gildas

Not sure of the value, I bought mine 4 years ago. It is a 1988 with the 125 Force. I paid $4000 Canadian for it with a trailer. I have done my regular maintenance, the winterization and spring tune-up. She has never given me any problems out on the water and is still going strong!

    Good luck!
