My 21 year old 1995 pre-vortec 5.7 motor finally breathed its last. I was thinking about just a long block but, once it was determined that it had a 12 bolt intake, I did not want to put the same pre-vortec brand motor in. I have since decided on a Mercury Re manufactured 2017 357 alpha 4v complete motor. It has 275 hp. The block and heads are remaned, everything else is new. I found this motor for $7149 plus shipping on the internet. I save on sales tax. So I need to find a shop willing to install it for me here in Las Vegas. Does anybody know a shop or does anybody have any reviews on this motor?
