    2003 Bayliner 184 s/f Capri-gctid398807

Hello, I am new to the forum and have been reading several posts here. Which have given me quite a few pointers as I am a very novice boat owner. I just purchased this from a good buddy of mine. Got a screaming deal since he doesn't want to move it back to New York from Washington state. I was just wondering if anybody else has one of these, or experience with one, and what your thoughts are about this model. It came equipped with a '03 Mercury 125 2 stroke outboard. I have replaced the trailer lights due to them filling up with water on first launch. Added Trac electric winch w/keyfob & light. I added the SE Sport 300 Hydrofoil. New set of 2pc. Faria 3 in 1 gauges. New navigation light poles. New OEM style horn. Seems to run pretty good for what I have learned about the 2+2 mercury. Only 194 hours on it.

Problems I have encountered thus far:

Not all the gauges work right yet.

Fuel gauge reads full all the time when key is on. (almost ran her empty in Puget Sound)

Tachometer seems to be running a little high. Probably on the wrong setting. (looking into that)

Oil pressure not hooked up yet. (don't know how yet.)

Live well doesn't seem to be working. Won't pump water or aerate.

Radio turns on but no sound. Bad head unit I think. Tried hooking up to new speakers but nothing.

Bring on any comments and suggestions.

    Thanks in advance.

Good to know. Can I repurpose it for something else?
