water entering my upper unit gear housing-gctid816901
Question: How can water enter my upper unit gear housing? I only have the garden hose connected to it so not entering thru the top cap but it is being pushed out at the top cap (water that is). Could it be a bad water pump seal that would allow water into that chamber? Thank you in advance. (Mercruiser alpha1 gen2) 1991 cuddy cab Bayliner.
