BOC, I recently smashed the windshield of my 2001 Bayliner 185, drivers side only. I have failed to find a replacement in a salvage yard nearby (Central Texas). Any suggestions on how to find one, as opposed to spending the $1,000.00 + to get a new one?
Taylor Glass out of Florida can make you a replacement. Be prepared however, not cheap. My port side took a rock on the highway on my 99 Capri 1850, glass was over $2000 Canadian. Plus shipping. That said, I made a template out of plexiglass that works just fine. I have talked to a few glass shops that will make a replacement out of Lexan when the time comes.
