So i have a chance to get a used teak swim platform for my 88 capri 1950 bowrider. Does anyone else have one on their boat so i can see what it would look like? I have to modify it a bit not much and it needs to be cleaned and oiled again.

I have to get pics of it. he wants $300. Is this a good deal and good idea to put on our boat?

I did it and it was one of the best things I did on my boat. I put a 3 step over the top swim ladder on it and it makes getting in and out so much nicer. I have a pic someplace and will post it. Teak needs some TLC yearly but it is sure worth it.

Here is a picture of mine and I picture I found on the internet of one a guy had really modified to fit the stern of the Capri. Mine has the spaces in between the boards on the teak platform and I did not change the shape or modify it at all
