I recently emailed nauticus to ask which tabs to use after reading various forums of people recommending different to what is recommended. They emailed back with SX9510-60 being the best for a 2012 Bayliner 175 flight series.

Now I have gone to install them and my transom isn't a flat surface and in the install video it says not to use them if the transom isn't flat. I have emailed them back just to confirm this but thought I would ask here as well.

They should have a different bracket/clevis to give you.

Just email or call them. They will send them to you for free. Pretty quickly as well. Great company.

I do think that there is a different clevis pin bracket....many 175 owners have the tabs so I am surprised that they haven't chimed in yet. Get ready, you are about to have a totally different, for the better boat!

I asked a few questions on this site and then ordered them from Amazon. Got an unsolicited email from the support folks at Nauticus asking if I had any questions. They sent me the correct mounting bracket free of charge. Installed them about a month ago. VERY happy. Boat gets on plane almost instantly. No more bow wander at low speeds. Very effective in turns. Wish I'd put them on last year. An unqualified YES....do this.
