Hello all,

I need to replace the fabric that is on the underside of my engine cover / rear lounge deck-seat (I have a 2003 Capri 205). Right now it is a tan colored fabric that is stained and very dirty looking. I was told that this needs to be a special fireproof material. If this is true, where can i get it? Any suggestions would be helpful!

Nomex by Dupont...typically what firefighter suits are made from and heat shields in engine compartments. Can buy rolls/sheets on the internet or call a local insulation contractor and see if they can help ya.
