    Call from the service department...-gctid805701

The dealer has pulled my boat out of storage, replaced the sliced up cushion over the battery compartment, and fixed the tach. But they think there is a fuel supply issue since the rpms gradually reduce with a constant throttle setting. Said they would troubleshoot and call me back...I assume tomorrow. Two things I must admit...was in a hurry and may have left the tank less than half full of fuel, although it was marine fuel last year and did not add Stabil for the same reason. Anything I should be on the lookout for when they call me back?

    Thanks, all.

This was not fuel at all. Engine was going into guardian mode because the thermostat was stuck wide open. Pea gravel...gotta love shallow antique locks with missing channel markers. I knew to replace the impeller...did not think about this one.

Glad they found the problem, seemingly quickly and hopefully not too expensively.

But....what exactly is "marine fuel" and why does it not need fuel stabilizer? If you mean non-ethanol rec 90, you should still add a stabilizer for winter storage. if your marina sells some sort of pre-stabilized marine mix....please do tell. I have never heard of such a thing.......

Meant non-ethanol. Point taken on stabilizer.
