HI, I have a 2001 Mercruiser 3.0 LTR Bayliner Capri Classic and I am wondering what a fair price is for replacing the impeller by a marine repair shop?
Working off a flat rate chart I would guess between $400 and $500 depending on local hourly charges. It will also depend on whether O.E.M. parts or aftermarket.

Part of the procedure for replacing the impeller is draining and refilling the gear lube. Make sure they don't double up on you by charging you for an additional service. Not that ever seen that one....
