It's going to be in the water 24/7 at a marina. This is the 1st time I've ever had done this and I'm nervous. I'd like a cover to be of the best material. Hell I have to have it custom made I believe for all the snaps to line up. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would also recommend using a boat cover vent like the one here

Good luck

What others have said certainly.....also will need to make sure you have a "fully" automatic bilge pump as well. My 185 says it has an "automatic" bilge pump...but truth is, it's only automatic if I turn it on manually......regardless of what kind of cover you chose, at some point some water will enter the boat...

I had bought a Westland Sharkskin custom cover for my 175; it fit perfectly. Came with 2 vents and appropriate reinforcement in the right places. There were no openings for cleats and no snaps; it was a drawstring fit. The bimini had to come down to allow it to fit
If you have existing snaps that you want to use, or if you want one to fit around the bimini poles or around cleats, then you will have to go to a custom canvas guy.
