    Bow cushion question-gctid394617

The 2012 180 OB (maybe others, too), don't have back cushions in the sides of the bow. To me, this, along with carpeting an open boat, is a travesty. However, unlike the carpeting, I can remedy the bow cushion issue. I'd like to remedy it by retrofitting with stock or stock-like Bayliner cushions. I don't quite know the best place to go to find these - can anyone point me to a good source?

I wonder if the side cushions from the 185 would fit.....

You could get factory cushions from a dealer, and I'd be happy to measure mine tonight and post the numbers. There could be another reason besides cost cutting though for their absence. My side cushions are nearly two inches thick, the seats may simply be too narrow to give up that much extra width.

That's a good point. Plus I took a look at lunch, and I have grab handles in the middle of the expanse as well. I may be looking at something custom, perhaps even velcro'd on. Thanks for the assistance.

But after I installed my speakers behind the side handles, there is just no space, and the comment on limited space from a width of the seat is an issue as well. Figure I'll wait for the perks of the extra cushion for when I upgrade to a 195/215 in a few years...
