newbie here with 2011 175br. hope someone can offer advice on where and how to cut the fuel line to install the separator. how much gas will come out of the hose? any precautions i should take other than say, not smoking? thanks

Here is where I placed mine in a 2005 175BR:
There is very little gas that will enter the bilge when you cut your hose at this location...the tank has an anti-syphon valve just to prevent this. The most that you should see would be less than a 1/4 cup....
