    Help (seats)-gctid390257

Ok this threw me for a loop. I bought these seats for my 2050 Capri, I really like them a lot. They arrived yesterday, but there's no type of mounting base on the bottom. What do I do? Any modification VOIDS the warranty. I want to put a nice swivel base on them. I can use the 4 screws on the bottom and mount an aluminum plate on the bottom or a 1/2" ply wood base..Please give me your thoughts.Thank you

I'm sure the manufacturer sells a pedestal base for those seats, just buy the one that fits their pattern.

Thanks for the reply oldjeep. I called the manufacturer and they said the seats were made for base boats, so there made to be mounted with a piano hinge. I really like the seats, I'm not married to them though. I just like the colors and the 24" seat bottom. I think I'll just mount a 1/4" plate of aluminum on the bottom..

I would like to see pictures of them installed. I have a 1997 1850 capri and am exploring changing out the big clunky bucket seats for more room and manuverability. The ones you have look like what I was thinking of. How comfortable are they so far?
