03 vs. 04 219 Deck Boat?-gctid379794

First of all, hello, thanks for the great wealth of info on this forum. It's been a great help already.

I am considering purchasing a great looking 2003 219SD Deck boat, and have been trying to find a cover for it. In my searching I've noticed that there is very little info online about the 03 model of this boat but the 04 seems to have accessories and covers available from multiple vendors. This leads me to believe that there was some change in the model, but I cannot find what that might be anywhere. Would anyone know what that difference might be?

Thanks, I think we will have a custom made if we get the boat.

But I am still trying to figure out what was changed between the 03 and 04 models. If there was an issue with the 03 that was corrected, I would like to know about it prior to purchase. If it was something cosmetic or minor I can probably live with it, but if it's a major issue then...

I tried an after market semi-universal cover for mine. It did not work out that well, in fit or quality. I ended up having one custom made. Although it cost significantly more, any decent shop should be able to meet your specific boat needs.
