Have anyone here thought about installing a wash down pump so they can wash down the decks and blast away anchor mud?

I'm tempted to install one but wanted to get you all's opinion instead of installing a thru hull, which I'm trying to a void, just toss a hose over the side and let it pick up water that way?

Most wash down pumps these days have 6 ft head for the water pickup.

I am considering the same project. I was thinking of tapping into an existing line to avoid another thru hull.

Mine is small tahoe q4 (intruder I know) but I learned more from here then on any other forums!

My model was a water sports package so we did not have bait well or any type of water pickup installed.
