    97 wake challenger

    Heyo! New to the site, recently purchased a wake challenger. Wondering if anybodys surfing them. Any little quirks i should know about? Thanks

      You have a very rare boat even on this club. which one you got 2180 or 2280?

        I didnt reslize it was that rare. Its the 20ft. I believe thats 2080 XD?

          The 2080 XD was a V-drive 20'2" length with a 7'8" beam. It looks nearly identical to the 2180.
          In the 2080XD they offered the 260hp & 290hp mercruisers, but not the 315hp.
          After Brunswick discontinued them in 1999, Lewis Boats in Australia purchased the molds and began producing.

            Maybe because wake boats are a pita to the rest of the boating world, not to mention the shoreline. If you want to surf, buy a board and head for the ocean.

                Not meant to offend, but they are really rampant here on Lake Havasu, and most of them have no idea of courtesy to other boaters, let alone the damage they do.

                  I mentioned this before, ut here in Michigan they are beginning to get banned on inland lakes .... in particular lakes less than 500 acres I believe...and that is literally 1000’s of lakes statewide
