Welcome! Your question is the type that should be asked more often in my opinion. As a layperson, my first question to you would be is how much do the characteristics change when a person is located back next to the motor? It would probably be wise to add that 100 pounds into your loading calculation.....that I’m sure you calculate every time you go out. You could consider it to be similar to mounting a trolling motor. Again, part of the load calculation, but likely not a big factor after that. But that my uneducated opinion
