    2509 with water leak

Hi, our new to us 1995 2509 has water coming in while running, I have replaced the front thru hull and that area is now dry when under way, checked the engine bolts, and plug. If we go out and run fast or slow for say 1 hour come back in and put boat up on lift the front is dry , back will appear to have very little water , come out next morning and will have close to 5 gallons in front bilge ? Any thoughts

Check the integrity of the caulking around the rub rail. Water can make its way into the hull between the upper and lower sandwiched pieces if the rub rail isn't sealed.

If she’s gaining water while on the lift I’d also say the rub rail is a likely cause if it has rained during that time frame.
