Jack Plate on Element (any model)

Probably a longshot, but I was wondering if anyone has installed a manual or hydraulic jack plate on any Element model? A hydraulic setup is a bit pricey for an element, but a manual one is not, and could, maybe, help address some of the ventilation issues that are inherent with the hull (as set up at the factory). I would love to try lowering my outboard by a 3/4" or so, but the transom setup on the E18 has the motor as low as it can go.

I have run hydraulic jack plates on a couple of boats but I would think you will get better results by utilizing a 4 blade prop and smart tabs in this instance.

Moved to Deckboat forum, which is where the Elements now reside.

Ignore post below. I figured it out.....

<any idea why, using my up-to-date android phone, all I get is the "old" site with the "old" forums....and thus the old "bowriders/ski fish/cuddies/deckboats" forum? I cannot find the new "Deckboat" forum......

Operator error, user equipment issue, or site hosting issue?>
