Does 2000 2655 have a forward bilge pump?

    Hi guys,

On my helm I have a button for a aft and fwd bilge pump. Pressing the AFT button lights up red and I see/hear the pump in the engine bay working. The FWD button does not light up and I hear nothing. Does this model have a forward bilge pump? I located a shower drain pump under the stairs but the line into it comes from the shower drain.

If the 2655 does hae a FWD pump I'd like to test it and or replace it but can't locate it. Any hints?

Yes it does. Should be under the steps. +1 with Don -- check the fuse. If good, check the motor cartridge. BL was using the Johnson style which allows for motor removal without having to pull the base or screws.

thanks guy, lifted the test and it works fine after I got the stairs off. it just doesn't run off the switch at the helm. As long as it automatically kicks on I'm happy
