Cleaning Mold Spots from my Monkey Fur

    Hi Folks,

Who had the best luck removing molds spots from monkey fur? Is this a simple DYI project or do I need to need to hire a professional?

    Thanks, Paul

Spoke to several industry folks today, anyone ever stem clean? If so did you use any chemical/non chemical products?

I use Starbrite Mildew Stain Remover all the time.
        Works great.
        Just spray and walk away,,,,,

I've used that on the headliner and it worked well.

I purchased a portable rug doctor steam cleaner and steam cleaned my monkey fur stem to stern. Not only did the bottle of generic cleaner that came with the machine clean the mold spots, but the fur is several shades lighter. The water I was dumping out was nearly black....
. . .It places the lotion in the Basket. . .and that basket happens to be in a 1987 Bayliner 3870 w/ Hino 175's

I tried several different methods on my 2452. I cleaned it up quit a bit but eventually bought some white fabric spray paint...

I tore my monkey fur out and installed beaded cream colored bathroom plastic on my 3870 salon head liner.
              Trimmed with teak furring.

i used this too, worked on about 95% of them, just don't let it sit more than 15 minutes. It will destroy or "pinken" the fur if you leave it on overnight!
