Hey Guys, I'm hoping I can remove the cockpit glass in order to apply tint film. Has anyone done this? I read somewhere it can be done relatively easily, but don't want to drop any panes doing it. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

My last boat had tinted windows, I removed it because if you do any cruising at night it is impossible to see. If your just doing it to keep sun off your dash just have a cover made, that's what I did for that boat and my existing one. Works great, my dash stays cool for the most part.
Just something to keep in mind.Dave

Find some one who has a mobile tint business and have them come to your boat. You are talking about taking window frames apart that are screwed to the boat and the frames are riveted together.
You will probably have to replace some of the weather strip that goes between the glass and the frame. Call the tint guy !!
