Happy New Year to all. Was wondering if you all had any recommendations for replacement spot lights for your boats? I currently have a Jabsco Model Number 62040. The light will turn on however it does not rotate from side to side when I push the control stick in either direction. I am certain with the state of LED's today that there are several options out there.
I replaced my sealed beam spot light with this unit. It works just great. Very bright.

everyones budget is different, and im not suggesting that you do anything other than you want to do..... but personally, I would find out why spotlight doesnt move like it should, and if I found it to be worn out or broken rather than just a bad connection, THEN I would look at replacement options.
replacing a remote spotlight can be a PITA, depending on where its mounted, as the new remote wiring harness has to be ran from the helm to the light.
as for an LED replacement, replacing the incandescent bulb that is currently in the housing with an LED should be more economical...

Hi Don. Look on Amazon for "L E D remote control spot light" you will find it listed under " 1pcs Black 12v 24v 50w 360ยบ CREE LED Rotating Remote Control Work Light Spot for Hummer Jeep Off-road Vehicles Trucks Car Boat SUV Home Security Protection Emergency Lighting" at $89.99. When I bought it, it was on sale for $69.99. I did make my own mount, but it works well. The crew from Boat US here in Myrtle Beach loves how bright it is and how easy it is to operate. Hope this helps............Bill
