TOPIC: kicker bracket on a 2355

kicker bracket on a 2355 17 Apr 2011 23:45 #1

Hi I recently pruchased a 1996 2355, were I will be boating is on the north western tip of lake superior. You can go a whole weekend and not see another boat, so I would like to install a kicker bracket and mount a small motor for back up just in case of mechanical problems. I was thinking of using the brackets that secure the swimming ladder in place, so take out the swimming ladder and slide in a plate with 1 inch pipe welded to it 10 inchs apart on either side.

Does anyone have any other idea's

thanks,

jamie

If you lose your swim ladder then you have no way of getting back in your boat if you go overboard. You should try opposite side of stern possibly.
Cheers

I am looking at this style which would appear to lie flat on top of the swim platform, and be pretty much out of the way when not being used.
