been lurking a few times ..... I have a 2000 / md#2002 Trophy W/A - bought new in 1999 - we live on the Piantiank River, off the Chesapeake Bay. Boat needs some updating, and a few improvements. Hoping to reap some knowledge from You folks - thanks for having me.

Welcome, "neighbor"! Good to see another Chesapeake Bay boater. I had to Google your river though - wasn't familiar, but have been out towards Kilmarnock just north of you. Love the oysters from your area!

Like you I am new here at BOC (not even a month yet) and can tell you that I've already had dozens of questions answered either by searching the site or by asking the captains and crew in new topics. Good luck!

Welcome to the best forum on earth! Really this is the place where many help others, help others. I have received so much good information makes me glad I own a Bayliner! Am just down the way on Urbanna Creek! We do live in a bit of heaven compared to the folks up in Northern VA, where I am originally from...can we say "much traffic?" Enjoy the forums....-Jim

If you haven't had them sealed or replaced, look at your motor well drains. They are known to leak. The transom cap also.
