Well at last i had a few min's to wake up the Trophy. So after getting all set to fire her up here in the driveway on the trailer. I get her running and find that the tach is not working. So after checking the connections at the back of the unit i find nothing has helped. Still DOA. Anyone have any other idea's????

I had the same issue - the problem was the little hole in the leg (one which allows water in to measure your speed) was blocked by some debris...
I used a wire to clean it - works for 3 years now

Jan. I believe that you are referring to the speedo connection and not the tac.
See if you can find the wiring schematic for your boat and make sure that all connections for the tac are sound. I believe that the sensor for the tac comes off of the coil but I may be mistaken. These things usually are pretty much bullet proof.
