hey guys, so i took apart some hoses, thermostat housing, & the engine circlulating pump & i found pieces of impellar,, big pieces... they must have been in there for some time, cause when i changed the impellars there was no fins missing, anyway i took them out & still the same problem, so i either have more in there some where or its back to the drawing board

On my 7.5 omc one side completly cooked and melted the flapper off and caused all the bellows to go brittle. On inspection one riser was nearly totally blocked up where the water exits into the exhaust. Luckily at 10 MPH enough water was passing to cool it so I could get home. This was on a 60 mile voyage after buying the boat. I've had a metal shop blast them and acid dip them for now and they came up fine.
