Morning all! I need to replace the navigation lights on a new-to-me Bayliner 3055. I went to the marina last night to see what I was in for and it looks pretty straight forward...as long as I can get the old ones off. There appears to be a single screw in each light and then I'm assuming they are held on primarily by adhesive? I was going to go back tonight with a blade and try to cut the adhesive off to remove them, but thought I would seek advice here to see if anyone else had done this already and could let me know if there's something I'm missing. Thanks.

Just curious, why are you replacing them? Are they broke? I wanted brighter nav lights and considered changing fixtures but found LED festoon bulbs on ebay the same size as the old bulbs to be replaced.

My port light is broken. At least it has no cover. Just a bare bulb. I thought about replacing the cover but figured while I was at it, I may as well put what I want up there. Besides, I'm not sure I could find just the cover.

Which type of Nav light do you have? If they are the same as mine, which are Perko, you can get replacement parts. For example, on their website for my type of lights, you can see the part numbers under the 'Spare parts' list when you scroll down a little.

www.perko.com/catalog/navigation_lights_...l_mount_side_lights/

Also, if you're full out replacing, consider getting LED lights instead.
